Missions

Stuff you Don’t put in a Prayer Letter–Funnies from the Field

We personally support Anthony Juma and his family, national missionaries in Kenya, Africa.

We are also involved in Voice of the Martyrs, an incredible organization that ministers to persecuted believers around the world. Go to www.persecution.com to find out how you can get Bibles to believers in hostile nations, get materials about the underground church, or drop parachutes with the Gospel into closed countries.

And we love being involved with Samaritan’s Purse, especially Operation Christmas Child! We make boxes for children around the world. It’s a great way to get your kids involved, because they can fill a shoebox for a child their age. It really makes the whole purpose of missions real. We also saved our change this year and sent that money in to buy the small Gospel booklets that go into the boxes. The booklets give the good news of Jesus in the children’s own languages, so my kids are being missionaries! And they only cost 50 cents each, so even my 4-year-old can do her part!
